The Flight

The Flight

On May 20,2022, it was the day I got to go flying in a tiny plane.

When I got into the car, I knew there couldn’t be a cancel, but there was always a possibility it could happen.  When I got to the airport, I was so pumped.  Today was the day!

A few hours later, I got to go in the control tower.  After that I had snack.  About thirty minutes later, I was in the plane!  We flew!

We flew to see the school, Quechee Gorge, the Connecticut River, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.  We got to see green, glorious green.

I think the best thing was just going on the flight.  Did I mention there were about sixty stairs and no elevator in the control tower?  The flight time was about 15-20 minutes, and we had TWO pilots, Mr. Freeman and Lokie!  Mr. Freeman was the main pilot, and Lokie was the third grader and was a pilot too part of the time.  I’ve never seen a third grader as a pilot in a plane before!

Brown to Green

Brown.

You can hear the birds chirping.

You can hear the wind.

You can taste the new maple syrup in shops.

Squishy mud, flowers, the cool breeze, and cold.

Green.

The blooming flowers are such good decor.

Do you know what they looked like before?

The bees like to zoom by and buzz.

The birds are here, there, and all around.

Chirp, chirp, chirp.

This is the time to run and do a cartwheel

Close to the brook,

So after each cartwheel you can look up at the sun,

Who is like Jesus our Savior,

Our salvation,

Who died on the cross for our sins and is in Heaven

Watching over us.

And also watching over green.

Pittsburg, NH (a persuasive NH family adventure)

Pittsburg, NH

You should go to a cabin in Pittsburg, NH, and stay a while.

First, you should go because the cabin was big.  Each cabin had its own grill.  There were three small and one big bed, plus you could hide under the stairs.

Next, you should go because hiking sounds boring but actually it was really fun.Ther were little lookout places most of the way up.  The fire tower at the top was cool.  I met people who one of them could run down rocky places.

Last, their restaurants had delicious food.  They probably work hard.  Speaking of food, I like french fries and for a drink ice cold water.  I almost forgot that this particular restaurant has games you can play for a dollar.

If you like restaurant food, sleeping in cabins, and hiking, I think Pittsburg, NH, will be amazing for you too!
